NEPCON/ EMT China 2007 Named Shanghai's Outstanding International Event

NEPCON/ EMT China 2007, one of the largest international SMT and electronics manufacturing event in Asia was awarded as one of Shanghai's "Outstanding International Event" by Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Industries Association during its 2nd Annual Meeting held at Shanghai Mart on 21st January 2008.

Entry to the award was open to 118 international events organized in Shanghai in 2007 and was judged by the industry's governing association, Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Industries Association with it's team of experts and supported by the Shanghai Foreign Economic Relation & Trade Commission. The nominees to the award were judged under the criteria that include the event's compliance with Shanghai exhibition industry's event management criteria, total exhibition space used, number of participating countries, percentage of international and local exhibitors, number of visitors as well as exhibitors' & visitors' overall satisfaction.

Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Industries Association is a non-profit social organization offering the industry with qualified legal person from corporations undertaking convention, exhibition and business concerned in Shanghai. Since its establishment over the last five years, the organization helped government manages the industry by protecting members' legal rights, improve the integrated quality of the industry, draw up the self-disciplined system of the industry, organize international exchange and co-operation, and promote the healthy development of the convention & exhibition industries in Shanghai.
