Kester EnviroMark™ 923 a halogen-free, RoHS Compliant lead-free no-clean solder paste has been developed with unique flux chemistry system which has no intentionally added halogens (Chlorine, Bromine) or halides and yet providing superior solderability as compared to conventional halogenated/ halide-based solder paste systems. EM923 has been tested and conforms to IEC 61249-2-21, IPC-4101B and JPCA-ES-01-2003 halogen-free requirements, with no chlorine and bromine detected. Kester's EM923 offers numerous advantages over other solder pastes such as ultra-low BGA voiding characteristics, clear, soft flux residue, shiny joints and excellent solderability on all typical component and board finishes, and easier residue penetration. EM923 also handles fine pitch printing, long stencil and tack life. Kester 295 no-clean lead-free solder cored wire, a completely halide-free and halogen-free with no intentionally added halogens that conform to the halogen-free requirements of IEC 61249-2-21, JPCA-ES-01-1999 and IPC-4101B. 295 offers superior solder-ability on a variety of surface finishes and exhibit low splattering, produce low smoke and clear residue. Classified as ROL0 of IPC J-STD-004A.
