SMD TOWER

For a quick and simple changeover of your SMT line, the MYDATA SMD Tower is an automated, highly flexible and expendable storage unit designed to give you the correct component in the right place and in a controlled atmosphere. A controlled atmosphere with relative air humidity of less than 5% is created by feeding in dry air through the absorption unit option.

With a capacity of up to 546 different SMD reels and trays in a 1 meter space, you could request either a single reel or tray or automatically process a complete kitting list for a production board. The Tower's database records every movement and keeps track of all stored reels and component quantities. The component stock quantities can also be queried from any MYDATA machines in real time and the stock data can be updated continuously.

Further powerful functions such as job scheduling, to check if amount of components in the Tower is sufficient to run an order, and automatic minimum stock monitoring, avoid unwanted production stand-stills.

The MY100DX is the perfect all-in-one solution wherever high volumes of high-mix production are anticipated. It features two linear drive mounthead carriers that are equipped with high-speed multi-nozzle heads and high-precision single-nozzle heads for maximum flexibility. An advanced vision system centres components before mounting allowing you to mount a wide range of components in terms of size and complexity at high speed.
