The Assembl¨¦on AX Pick & Place platform is designed to efficiently handle variable medium and large batch production, also in high product mix environments, and to highly accurately place complex and odd-form components.

The A-Series equipment fits seamlessly together and can be configured in less than 5 minutes. Flexible product changeover comes from off-line feeder setup and placement program creation and optimization. Remote performance monitoring helps reduce maintenance costs.

The platform uses a fully controlled pick & place cycle together with programmable placement force control. This combination ensures near-zero DPM even at high placement rates and therefore high first-pass yield. Line performance is <10 defects per million (DPM) at placement rates up to 165k components per hour.

The AX-201 odd-form IC and fine pitch placer is suited for both stand-alone applications and as an end-of-line machine together with the AX-501 or AX-301.
