Semiconductor Fair| Global Semiconductor Sales Hit Record High in February 2025

SIA recently announced that global semiconductor sales reached $54.9 billion in February 2025, a 17.1% increase compared to $46.9 billion in February 2024, but a 2.9% decrease from $56.5 billion in January 2025.

By region, sales in the Americas (48.4%), Asia-Pacific/All Other Regions (10.8%), China (5.6%), and Japan (5.1%) saw year-over-year growth, while Europe (-8.1%) experienced a decline. In February, sales in Asia-Pacific/All Other Regions (-0.1%), Europe (-2.4%), China (-3.1%), Japan (-3.1%), and the Americas (-4.6%) saw a month-over-month decrease.

SIA President and CEO John Neuffer commented, "Although monthly sales saw a slight decline, February's global semiconductor sales set a new record, driving strong year-over-year growth. The industry has seen over 17% year-over-year growth for 10 consecutive months, with sales in the Americas region growing nearly 50% year-over-year."
